Can his art offend urban sensibility? Sir: This is with reference to 'Case registered, moral police rush to seize art at gallery' (MN, August 7). That the title of the exhibition and the exhibits offend somebody's morality is going a bit too far in today's changing social scenario. IwonderifSanjeevKhandekarandVaishali Narkar could give a jolt to the prevailing moral standards and ethical mind-set of Mumbaiites through a fairly accommodative title in Tits, Clits n Elephant Dicks and the alleged obscenity in the exhibited images. When Bollywood films and the hitherto unprecedented online sexapades either dirty or sweeten every urban middle class drawing rooms, how come Khandekar's artistic expres­sions of an ailing sensuousness of the very familiar kind of­fend the urban ethical sensibility?
